The
suite of our B&B overlooked the Bay of Fundy in New-Brunswick
and the provincial parc with its hills and mountains. A delicious
moment: the sun has just managed to pierce through the thick clouds,
inondating with light the bay, impregnated with humidity...
Little
cabin lost in the woods.... privacy !
Peace
and quiet returns: sloops float calmly on the water after the
storm.
Serenity and calm on one of the
many lakes of British-Columbia,
bordered by a rich and savage nature.
Time
to take a brake during a little day trip with friends on the
rivière des Hautes Gorges de la Malbaie in the Charlevoix
region of the province of Quebec.
Our
roots: grandmother and granddaughter at the foot of a very old tree
that has managed to stay alive even though the river has tried to
undermine the roots and the ice has pushed against its trunk. To find
this tree you only have to visit the linear parc at Port St-Francois
close to Trois-Rivières, Quebec.
Not
one but two rainbows encircled the Acalmie, an abandonned freighter
in the Bay St-Paul area after a rainy and stormy day....
Storm
clouds on lac St-Pierre, Québec, one 14th of
July….
The
explosion of nature after a long winter. Finally spring is here!
Peacefull
: Reflections and aquatic plants on lake Wapizagonke
in the National
Parc de la Mauricie.
Deserted
beach, California …
Port
au Persil, Charlevoix…..
Cormorans……and
the beckoning ocean !
The
charme of a small village somewhere in a valley in the region of
Toscane in Italy.
Some
sleeping gondolas in Venice, early in the morning.
Reflections
of automn in all its splendid colours.
On
top of the world, facing the sea: no better invitation to travel the
Greek islands!
Hot
sand, a sun vertically above, a tuquoise ocean, the lapping of the
waves, two beach chairs an a parasol...something to make the winter see
red and to give us a desire to spread our wings and fly south...
The
explosion of nature after a long winter. Finally spring is here!
This is the horizontal version of my original vertical canvas.
This
is what you see when you park your car at l'Auberge des
Aïeux, Les Éboulements, in the Charlevoix region.
In
2008 we took our friends from Belgium around the Gaspé peninsula. This
is one of the souvenirs of that trip.
